Yemen’s Foreign Ministry Welcomes UN Security Council Statement on Yemen
Aden – Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the latest statement issued by the United Nations Security Council regarding the situation in Yemen, describing it as a step that reinforces international support for peace and stability in the country.
In its remarks, the ministry expressed appreciation for the Council’s call to de-escalate tensions and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working with international partners to achieve a comprehensive and lasting peace.
Officials stressed that the Security Council’s position reflects growing concern over the humanitarian crisis and the need to protect civilians across Yemen.
The Foreign Ministry also underscored the importance of continued international pressure on the Houthi militia to end violations and engage constructively in peace efforts.
