Yemen’s Ambassador to UAE : The Revolution Embodies the People’s Will — A National Rescue Project Is Needed to End Houthi Control
Abu Dhabi – Yemen’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, delivered a formal address marking the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution, describing it as “a defining moment in Yemen’s journey toward freedom, dignity, and the building of a modern state.”
He called for the launch of a comprehensive national rescue project aimed at “ending the grip of Houthi militias and restoring legitimate state institutions.” Saleh stressed that the current phase requires “genuine national unity, inclusive political will, and sincere Arab and international support.”
The ambassador also expressed appreciation for the UAE’s humanitarian and development efforts in Yemen, noting that bilateral relations are “built on mutual respect and shared interests.”
He concluded by stating that “the revolution is not merely a memory, but a renewed pledge to continue the struggle for a strong, unified Yemen free from militias and fragmentation.”
