Aden —Yemen’s Houthi rebels have reportedly begun repairing underground tunnels and military infrastructure that were damaged during recent U.S. airstrikes. 

The restoration efforts come shortly after a ceasefire agreement was mediated by Oman between the Houthis and Washington.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the Houthis are focusing on rebuilding key tunnel networks that were previously used for military operations and arms storage. Analysts suggest that these tunnels play a crucial role in the group's strategic defense and supply chain.

The ceasefire agreement, which halted U.S. airstrikes on Houthi positions, has led to speculation about the rebels' next moves. While the deal aims to de-escalate tensions in the region, reports indicate that the Houthis are using the pause in hostilities to reinforce their military infrastructure.
