The Saudi-led Arab coalition launched a medical air bridge to evacuate patients from Yemen to Egypt and Jordan.
“The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition, following the humanitarian initiative announced on May 14, 2018 and in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), will launch the medevac air bridge (Flights of Mercy) from Yemen to Egypt and Jordan,” announced coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said Monday.
This humanitarian initiative is in line with the coalition’s humanitarian and relief efforts and supports the brotherly people of Yemen in easing the suffering of patients suffering from severe medical conditions, he stated.
