Jordan sends relief aid to Yemen
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Sunday dispatched an aircraft laden with relief aid to the Yemeni people.
JHCO Secretary General, Ayman Mifleh, said a Royal Air Force aircraft carrying 15 tons of foodstuffs, blankets, jerry cans and mattresses will be handed to the Yemeni government to be distributed to the needy Yemini people, noting that further assistance will be sent to Yemen in the coming period.
JAF's Crisis Management Center Director Brigadier, Mohammad Mawajdeh, said under royal directives, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff and King's advisor for Military Affairs Gen. Mashal Al Zaben ordered the dispatch of the relief aid to alleviate the suffering of Yemini people.
