On Wednesday, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that it would face consequences for its support of the Houthi militia in Yemen. 

Hegseth emphasized that the United States is closely monitoring Iran's actions and is prepared to respond decisively.

In a statement shared on social media, Hegseth accused Iran of providing "lethal support" to the Houthis, who have been involved in ongoing conflicts in Yemen. 

He declared that Iran would "pay the consequence at the time and place of our choosing," underscoring the US military's readiness to act.

This warning comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with the US ramping up its military presence and conducting strikes against Houthi targets.
