King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed on Monday 300 food baskets, Weighing 22 tons and 200 KGs, in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, to 1800 beneficiaries.
This aid comes within the framework of many projects being implemented by the Center to support the Yemeni People, which have so far reached 328 projects, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Meanwhile, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Qassim Region, highlighted the kingdom's humanitarian role saying that the Kingdom is one of the leading countries in the humanitarian, relief and developmental activities in various countries of the world.
Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal said the kingdom established KSrelief center to serve Saudi Arabia's humanitarian goals.
According to SPA, this came during his weekly meeting with citizens today at Al-Tawhid Palace in Buraidah entitled "KSrelief Center's Global Humanitarian Presence."
Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief, attended the meeting and explained charitable efforts by KSRelief and its projects during 4 years.
