The UAE has reaffirmed its strong support for the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump, during a high-level meeting in Paris hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Representing the UAE, Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, joined top diplomats from Egypt, Germany, Italy, Jordan, the UK, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and others, along with key international representatives, to discuss the implementation of the peace plan.

She welcomed the ceasefire breakthrough and stressed the need for collective international action and unity to ensure lasting peace, particularly in Gaza.
Al Hashimy also highlighted the UAE’s major humanitarian contributions to Gaza, amounting to $1.8 billion in assistance since the start of the war, including medical aid, food supplies and delivery of clean water through desalination plants.
She reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to scaling up support in the coming months, with expanded relief operations ahead of winter.
