Aden — The British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, announced today that she held a “fruitful” meeting with Yemen’s Prime Minister on Sunday, underscoring the government’s focus on delivering essential services and maintaining security for the benefit of the Yemeni people.

Sharif emphasized that both sides share a common goal of building a more stable and prosperous future for Yemen, despite the difficult circumstances and ongoing challenges facing the country.

She further stressed that the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Yemen remain a fundamental priority in the UK’s engagement with the Yemeni government.

The meeting was described as constructive, reflecting Britain’s continued support for Yemen’s stability and the well-being of its citizens.
