Yemen alliance bombs Al Houthi targets in Al Jawf, Saada

Jets of an Arab alliance, fighting Yemen’s Iran-aligned Al Houthi extremists, had bombarded the militia’s outposts in the province of Al Jawf, north east of the militant-controlled capital Sana’a, the official Saudi news agency SPA reported Monday.
The strikes targeted the positions and gatherings of Al Houthis in Al Jawf’s district of Khabb Wa Ash Sha’af, resulting in unspecified casualties and hardware losses among the militants there, according to the agency.
The bombing was unleashed hours after the alliance, co-led by the UAE and Saudi Arabia, struck and destroyed an arms depot manned by Al Houthis in their northern stronghold of Saada.
The coalition air strikes also hit the militant positions in other parts of Saada, causing casualties among the terrorists, the Yemeni website September. Net reported.
Al Houthis plunged Yemen in a devastating war after they had seized Sana’a and other parts of the impoverished country in late 2014.
In March 2015, the Arab alliance intervened in Yemen in response to a request from the internationally recognised government there.
