Yemen: Reports of Postpone signing Riyadh Agreement between Yemen Gov't and STC

A source in the Yemeni government consultation team has postponed the signing of the agreement with the Southern Transitional Council, which was scheduled for Thursday.
The government source did not explain why the agreement was postponed or its new date.
On Thursday, a member of the consultative team for the "Transitional Council" Adnan Kaf, via a tweet, that the signing will be within hours in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, considering it a victory for the south and his sons.
A source familiar with the situation in Socotra and Abyan governorates in southern Yemen postponed the signing of the so-called "Riyadh Agreement".
The source said that the escalation of the "Transitional Council" forces in Socotra on Wednesday, and clashes between the army and the "Transitional Council" in the city of Ahwar, Abyan province, on Thursday, has led to the postponement of the signing of the agreement announced last Thursday.
On Tuesday, a member of the government consultation team said the signing would take place in Riyadh on Thursday in the presence of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the sponsorship of the Saudi leadership.
