Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met in Riyadh on Wednesday with the United Nations' Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest and the latest developments at the Yemeni arena.
Also earlier on Wednesday, the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and Supervisor of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber met with German Envoy for Yemen and Head of Middle East Division at German Foreign Office Michael Ohnmacht.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed a number of issues of common concern and ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
For his part, Ohnmacht expressed his appreciation for efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia to reach Riyadh Agreement and enhance security and stability in Yemen.
