Shiite rebels welcome Yemen president resignation

YOL- As a first reaction taken by Houthis (Shiite rebels) , they welcomed the resignation of the Yemeni president Abdo Rabo Mansor Hadi while sources in the Yemeni parliament announced that they don’t accept the president’s resignation yet assuring that the members of the Yemeni parliament was called for emergency session to discuss the issue .
In the other hand the Yemeni government submitted its resignation on Thursday amid a heated standoff between powerful Shiite rebels who control the capital and the embattled U.S.-backed president, who has been held “captive” in his house for the past two days.
