Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi movement in Yemen, stated that his militia would confront any retaliatory attempts by Israel or the United States. He emphasized that they are closely monitoring the progress of the ceasefire agreement between the Israeli government and Hamas. Al-Houthi warned that if the agreement is not implemented, they would respond to support the rights of the Palestinian people and to halt violations.
“We are preparing to carry out more impactful and effective attacks that Israel and the United States will not anticipate,” the Houthi leader affirmed.
In a speech delivered moments ago via the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah channel, the Houthi leader called on millions of Yemenis in areas under their control to take to the streets tomorrow after Friday prayers in Tahrir Square. The demonstration is intended to celebrate the victory of the Palestinian resistance (Hamas) and to reaffirm Yemen’s supportive stance, according to his statement.
