Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi: We Will Confront the “American-Israeli Aggression”

Sana’a – Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Houthi militias , condemned the recent U.S. airstrikes on Yemen, describing them as “blatant aggression” targeting the Yemeni people and their sovereignty. Speaking during his Ramadan lecture, Al-Houthi claimed that these attacks are part of “American and Israeli plots” aimed at destabilizing the region.
In his address, Al-Houthi alleged that the airstrikes targeted civilian sites in Sana’a and Saada, resulting in casualties, including women and children. He called on the international community to denounce the attacks and uphold its responsibilities, asserting that they violate international laws and human rights.
He further declared that the Yemeni people will not stand idly by, vowing to resist the aggression, emphasizing that these strikes will not weaken their stance but rather strengthen their resolve to continue their fight in defense of the country.
His remarks come amid rising tensions between the United States and the Houthis, as U.S. forces intensify their airstrikes in response to Houthi attacks on commercial and military vessels in the Red Sea—a threat that Washington views as a direct challenge to international maritime security.
