Intense U.S. Airstrikes Target Houthi Positions in Yemen
Ma'reb May 4 _ 2025 Early this morning, U.S. forces carried out a series of airstrikes targeting strategic Houthi positions in Saada, Marib, and Hodeidah, as part of their ongoing military operations in Yemen.
According to local sources, the strikes hit Tukhia and Sahar district in Saada, while precision air raids were conducted in Majzar district of Marib. Meanwhile, Ras Isa in Hodeidah was subjected to sudden aerial bombardment.
The military escalation has sparked mixed international reactions, with U.S. officials asserting that these operations "aim to protect regional interests and ensure stability in the area," while the Houthis condemned the attacks, calling them "a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty."
This development comes amid rising tensions between the involved parties, raising questions about how these strikes will impact Yemen’s political and military landscape in the coming weeks.
