IDF Intercepts Ballistic Missile Launched from Yemen Toward Israel
Hebrew media reported on Monday evening that a ballistic missile launched from Yemen toward Israel was successfully intercepted by Israeli defense systems.
According to local sources, the missile fell mid-flight, and no sirens were activated as a result.
The reports added that Israeli authorities temporarily closed the airspace over Ben Gurion Airport following the detection of the missile launch.
In recent months, the Israeli army has announced the interception of several missiles launched from Yemen, which have triggered air raid sirens in multiple areas across the country.
Additionally, departures and landings at Ben Gurion Airport have faced repeated disruptions due to the activation of warning systems.
