Yemeni Masam Project: 2782 Mines, Unexploded Ordnance Cleared

The Saudi Project for Landmine Clearance “Masam” in Yemen have dismantled 2,782 mines and unexploded ordnance during the second week of May.
This includes 34 anti-personnel mines, 382 anti-tank mines, 45 explosive devices and 2,321 unexploded ordnance.
“Since the launch of the program until 7 May, 164205 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices have been cleared,” said Managing Director of Masam project Mr Ousama Algosaibi.
