Acted Provides Cash Assistance to Nearly 89,000 Displaced Yemenis
Paris — The French humanitarian organization Acted announced that it has delivered cash assistance to nearly 89,000 people affected by displacement in Yemen, with funding from the European Union.
In a report issued Monday, Acted said it reached 88,908 displaced individuals with cash-for-shelter support across 16 districts in six governorates during 2025.
The organization noted that this multi-sector humanitarian intervention, financed by the EU, aims to improve living conditions and support communities impacted by displacement in Yemen, where access to basic services, safe shelter, and protection remains severely limited.
Acted emphasized that the initiative reflects ongoing international efforts to alleviate the hardships faced by vulnerable families amid Yemen’s protracted crisis.
