Yemen : Winter Clothing Campaign Launched in Taiz, Hodeidah with UAE Support
Taiz — The Humanitarian Cell announced today the launch of a large-scale campaign to distribute winter clothing in Taiz and Hodeidah governorates, with support from the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, the Humanitarian Cell said the initiative began in Al-Barada area, south of Mokha in Taiz, as part of ongoing relief efforts to assist vulnerable families.
The campaign, titled “Warm Winter”, is carried out under the patronage of Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lt. Gen. Tariq Saleh, and supported by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
According to the organizers, “Warm Winter” aims to reach the most needy families across the western coastal districts of Taiz and Hodeidah, alleviating living hardships during the harsh winter season.
