Egypt sent the second batch of medical aid to Yemen, in coordination with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) to combat the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, reported Yemeni news Agency Saba on Saturday.
Medical aid includes saline solutions, PPE, and other medical supplies, said Undersecretary of the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population. He added that the aid comes within the framework of bilateral coordination between Egypt and Yemen.

Both Ministers discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of health, besides transfering Egypt’s experiences of a number of presidential health initiatives to the Yemeni side, said Egyptian Health Ministry spokesperson Khaled Megahed in a statement on Monday.
The Egyptian Minister also directed the ministry officials to send Yemeni counterparts the treatment protocols for the new coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, Megahed said.
