The official website of the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen has experienced a temporary outage due to a technical malfunction, according to a brief statement issued by the envoy’s office on Monday.

The disruption, which began earlier this week, has rendered the site inaccessible to users seeking updates on peace efforts, press releases, and official statements related to the Yemeni conflict. 

Officials attributed the issue to a server-side error and assured the public that technical teams are working urgently to restore full functionality.

“We are aware of the problem affecting our website and are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible,” the office said, adding that alternative communication channels remain available for media inquiries and stakeholder coordination.

The website serves as a key platform for disseminating information on the UN-led peace process, humanitarian developments, and diplomatic engagements in Yemen. 

Its temporary unavailability has prompted concern among observers and civil society groups who rely on timely updates from the envoy’s office.

No timeline has been provided for the restoration, but officials emphasized that the issue is purely technical and not related to cybersecurity or external interference. Updates will be shared once the site is back online.
