Yemeni Gov't Launches Domestic and International Flights via Mokha International Airport

Yemeni government announced the launch of domestic and international flights through Mokha International Airport. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to facilitate citizens' mobility and boost commercial activity in liberated areas.
During a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the final arrangements for the airport's operation were discussed, including logistical and technical readiness, as well as coordination with the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority. The Prime Minister emphasized the strategic location of Mokha Airport, granting it a significant competitive advantage, making it an important driver for air transport and logistical services.
Deputy Governor of Taiz, Engineer Rashad Al-Akhali, and Mokha Airport Director Khaled Abdul Latif confirmed the airport's full readiness to receive commercial flights. Dr. Bin Mubarak praised the efforts made to complete the project and stressed the importance of seeking strategic partnerships, both locally and internationally, to enhance the efficiency of Yemeni airports.
This achievement represents a significant step toward improving air transportation services in Yemen and opens new horizons for economic development and international connectivity.
