Aden - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project has achieved a significant milestone in Yemen by successfully clearing 1,488 mines during the fourth week of April 2025.
These mines, planted indiscriminately across various regions, posed a grave threat to civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
The cleared ordnance included three anti-personnel mines, 46 anti-tank mines, 1,437 unexploded munitions, and two improvised explosive devices.
This effort is part of a broader initiative that has removed a total of 4,036 mines in April alone, bringing the cumulative total since the project's inception to an impressive 490,144 mines2.
The Masam Project continues to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of Yemeni communities, restoring hope and stability in the region.
