ERC continues its humanitarian mission in Yemen, delivering vital aid to families in need across multiple provinces
Aden — The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Yemen by continuing its humanitarian relief operations throughout the country. In recent days, ERC teams have distributed food baskets and essential supplies to hundreds of underprivileged families, particularly in flood-affected areas along Yemen’s West Coast.
This latest initiative is part of the UAE’s broader humanitarian strategy aimed at alleviating suffering and improving living conditions for the Yemeni people. The aid packages included shelter tents, food staples, and hygiene items, tailored to meet the urgent needs of families displaced or impacted by natural disasters and economic hardship.
According to ERC field reports, 960 families received direct assistance following severe flooding in coastal regions. Local residents expressed deep gratitude to the UAE’s leadership and people for their continued solidarity and support during these challenging times.
The ERC emphasized that its operations in Yemen are ongoing and responsive to evolving humanitarian needs. The organization continues to coordinate with local authorities and international partners to ensure timely delivery of aid and to uphold the principles of dignity, neutrality, and compassion in all its relief efforts.
This sustained support reflects the UAE’s enduring commitment to humanitarian values and its role as a regional leader in crisis response and development aid.
