Doha — The United Arab Emirates national under-23 team secured a convincing 3–1 victory over Yemen in the ongoing Gulf U-23 Cup, strengthening their position in the regional tournament.

The match, played on Sunday evening, saw the Emirati side dominate possession and capitalize on key scoring opportunities. 

UAE attackers struck twice in the first half to establish control, before adding a third goal in the second half to seal the win. 

Yemen managed to pull one back late in the game, but it was not enough to alter the outcome.
