Jordanian Armed Forces Dispatch Food Aid Convoy to Yemen
Amman-- The Jordanian Armed Forces announced on Tuesday the dispatch of a humanitarian convoy carrying food aid to the Republic of Yemen, as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the difficult living conditions faced by the Yemeni people.
The convoy consisted of 13 trucks loaded with 54,600 food parcels, aimed at supporting essential needs and providing relief to citizens in Yemen. Officials emphasized that the initiative reflects Jordan’s steadfast commitment to standing by its “brothers in Yemen” and extending assistance during times of crisis.
The aid delivery comes amid continued humanitarian challenges in Yemen, where millions struggle with food insecurity and limited access to basic services. Jordan’s move has been widely welcomed as a gesture of solidarity, reinforcing the Kingdom’s role in regional humanitarian support.
