Flights Suspended at Seiyun International Airport in Yemen
SEIYUN — A Yemeni maritime source reported Thursday that flights at Seiyun International Airport in eastern Yemen have been suspended, without providing details on the reasons behind the sudden halt.
According to the source, all scheduled flights through the airport have been stopped, while neither the authorities nor the airport administration have issued any statement clarifying the background of the decision or how long the suspension might last.
Seiyun International Airport is one of the few operational air gateways in Yemen, serving thousands of passengers traveling in and out of the country amid the ongoing conflict.
