"Masam" project clears 625 mines in Yemen within a week

The project of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center "Masam" to clear the Yemeni lands of mines managed to extract 625 mines in various regions of Yemen, including 22 anti-personnel mines, 146 anti-tank mines, 456 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device, during the fourth week of this month.
The center stated - in a statement reported by the Saudi Press Agency, SPA - that the "Massam" team removed 51 anti-tank mines and 209 unexploded ordnance in Aden Governorate, and also managed to remove 8 unexploded ordnance in the Qa'tabah district in Al-Dhalea Governorate, and in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, a team was able to remove 8 unexploded ordnances. "Masam" removed 4 anti-tank mines and one unexploded ordnance in Al-Khawkhah district.
The team was also able to remove 9 anti-tank mines, two unexploded ordnance and one explosive device in Hays district, and 6 anti-tank mines in Al-Mudaraba district in Lahj governorate. It also removed 70 anti-tank mines and 107 unexploded ordnance in Al-Wadi district in Marib governorate, and in Shabwa governorate. The team cleared 15 anti-personnel mines in Asilan district.
In Taiz Governorate, the "Masam" team cleared two anti-tank mines and 112 unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mukha district, and the team removed one anti-tank mine and 5 unexploded ordnance in the Mawza district, and was able to remove one anti-personnel mine in the Sabr district, and removed 6 anti-personnel mines and 3 mines. anti-tank guns and 12 unexploded ordnance in Dhubab district; The number of mines removed during the month of July so far has reached 2,815, while the number of mines removed since the beginning of the "Masam" project has reached 408,633 mines.
