A tragic explosion at a gas station in Yemen’s central province of Al-Bayda on Saturday left at least 10 people dead and more than 65 injured, according to a local government official.
The explosion occurred in the Zaher district, causing a chain reaction that set two adjacent gas stations and nearby commercial warehouses ablaze.
The gas station was crowded with customers at the time of the blast, leading to chaotic scenes as civilians scrambled to escape the burning complex.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the explosion, which remains unclear.
