Aden -- Yemen Airways has announced the cancellation of the mandatory round-trip ticket requirement for passengers traveling from Yemen to Saudi Arabia. 

The decision, revealed in an official statement, is expected to ease travel procedures for thousands of Yemeni citizens who frequently cross the border for work, medical treatment, and family visits.

According to the airline, travelers departing from Yemeni airports to Saudi destinations will now be able to purchase one-way tickets without restrictions, a move aimed at reducing financial burdens and providing greater flexibility. 

The policy change comes in response to growing demand from passengers and coordination with Saudi authorities to facilitate smoother travel arrangements.

Officials at Yemen Airways emphasized that the new measure reflects the company’s commitment to improving services and adapting to passenger needs, particularly amid the ongoing humanitarian and economic challenges facing Yemen.

Travel agencies welcomed the announcement, noting that the removal of the round-trip requirement will benefit workers and patients who often face uncertainty about their return dates. 

The decision is also expected to encourage more efficient scheduling and reduce unnecessary costs for Yemeni travelers.
