Omani Deputy Foreign Minister Reaffirms Sultanate’s Ongoing Efforts for Peace in Yemen
Muscat — The Deputy Foreign Minister of Oman has reiterated the Sultanate’s commitment to advancing peace in Yemen, emphasizing that Muscat continues to coordinate closely with regional and international partners to support dialogue and stability.
Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the official underscored Oman’s consistent role as a mediator in efforts to end the conflict, noting that the Sultanate remains engaged with all parties to encourage constructive negotiations.
“Oman is determined to pursue its diplomatic initiatives in cooperation with regional and global stakeholders, with the aim of achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace in Yemen,” the Deputy Minister affirmed.
The statement comes amid renewed international calls for de-escalation and humanitarian relief in Yemen, where millions of civilians continue to face dire conditions.
