Mohammed bin Salman Heads to U.S. Following Invitation from President Trump
Riyadh — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has departed for the United States on an official visit, responding to an invitation extended by U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a statement released by the Royal Court.
The visit, which marks a significant moment in U.S.-Saudi relations, is expected to include high-level discussions on regional security, economic cooperation, and strategic partnerships. The Crown Prince is scheduled to meet with President Trump at the White House, alongside senior American officials and business leaders.
“The visit reflects the depth of the historic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, and aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various fields,” the statement read.
Analysts anticipate that the talks will cover a range of pressing issues, including developments in the Middle East, energy markets, and defense collaboration.
The Crown Prince is also expected to meet with representatives from major U.S. technology and investment firms, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 economic diversification agenda.
This visit comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the region and ongoing efforts by both nations to coordinate on matters of mutual interest.
Further details of the Crown Prince’s itinerary are expected to be released in the coming days.
