Yemen’s PLC President Praises Saudi, UAE Efforts to Stabilize Hadramout and Al-Mahra
Aden — Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad al-Alimi has commended the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in supporting de-escalation initiatives and restoring stability in the governorates of Hadramout and Al-Mahra.
In remarks carried by official sources, al-Alimi highlighted the role of the two Gulf countries in backing local authorities and security institutions to ease tensions and strengthen governance in the eastern regions.
He noted that their support has been instrumental in reinforcing peace efforts and enabling the return of normal administrative and economic activities.
The council chairman stressed that cooperation with regional partners remains vital to Yemen’s broader stability, particularly in areas vulnerable to unrest and cross-border challenges.
He expressed appreciation for the continued commitment of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Yemen’s unity and security.
