The UK Maritime Trade Operations said a ship 60 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen, reported a missile strike on Monday, adding that the crew and the ship were safe.
Yemen's Iran-allied Houthi rebels have been attacking commercial shipping in the Red Sea for more than a year in an attempt to impose a naval blockade on Israel, saying their operations are aimed at supporting the Palestinians in the year-long war in the Gaza Strip.
