Yemen : Woman Killed in Houthi-Suspected Shelling South of Hodeidah
Hodaydah — A woman in her thirties was killed in artillery shelling allegedly carried out by Houthi militias targeting residential areas in Al-Tuhaita district, south of Hodeidah, western Yemen.
Local sources reported that the attack occurred Sunday evening, killing the woman instantly and sparking panic among civilians in the area.
The incident is part of a series of violations in Yemen’s western coast, where repeated indiscriminate shelling of residential neighborhoods continues to exacerbate civilian suffering and increase casualties.
