Lightning strikes killed four people and injured four others in separate accidents in Yemen's northern provinces, local health authorities said.
The accidents occurred on Saturday evening in the provinces of Hodeidah, Raymah, and al-Bayda.
The fatalities included two in Hodeidah, one in Raymah, and a child in al-Bayda.
Four other people were injured by the lightning strikes in Raymah.
Lightning, rainstorms, and flash floods have been lashing northern Yemen for weeks, according to the health authorities.
